Natural Strategies To Enhance Growth Hormone

Growth Hormone (GH) is a great aid in Anti Aging as it It stimulates growth and cellular reproduction and regeneration in humans and other animals.

Yet as we get older our natural production of GH decreases. This means we lose GH benefits such as:

  • decreased body fat
  • increased muscle mass
  • increased bone density
  • increased energy levels
  • improved skin tone and texture
  • increased sexual function
  • improved immune system function

So people are turning to such products as synthetic growth hormone or growth hormone precursors (substances that are suppost to stimulate the bodies natural GH production.

Before you run to the nearest ‘Anti Aging Doctor’ and hand over a load of cash, yet another study confirms there is no definite evidence that elderly subjects really benefit from treatment with GH or GH secretagogues.

They further maintain that strategies aimed at enhancing spontaneous GH secretion such as sleep and appropriate exercise are not only safer but certainly much less expensive than a GH supplementation regimen (1).

By the way, if you look at the list of GH actions above, you could just as easily be talking about the benefits of approriate EXERCISE!!  Need I say any more?
