Did you see the documentary on the BBC Intermittent Fasting early August 2012 where Michael Mosley fasted for two days every week in what they called the 5/2 diet?
It was noted that Micheal lost nearly a stone (14lbs) in only 5 weeks on the plan without changing his diet five of the seven days..
I stuck to this diet for 5 weeks, during which time I lost nearly a stone
More importantly his health factors were greatly improved
and my blood markers, like IGF-1, glucose and cholesterol, improved. If I can sustain that, it will greatly reduce my risk of contracting age-related diseases like cancer and diabetes.
All in all, it was a good documentary proving the effectiveness of some of the best diet strategies I strongly recommend in my Fat Loss Blueprint.
